BoatNerd is a vessel tracking platform for the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway community, available on iOS, Android and the web. Built in Flutter, the mobile app shows live AIS ship positions on detailed nautical charts, letting boat watchers follow freighters and other vessels as they move through the region. It is live on both stores, with 8.65K downloads on the App Store and 2.1K on Google Play. The same AIS tracking system also powers the web version at ais.boatnerd.com, bringing live ship traffic to any browser with no install needed.
